(Consultant, Producer and Writer)

Writer, actor, director, consultant, and editor and host of The Big HOUSE (Rookie Radio). If he has anymore titles they're gonna have to give this guy a championship belt.

The Glorification

Big DAVE (David P. Watson) is just on of the many reasons why Rookie TV is the funniest show to hit television in a long time. Along with founders Rookie and C-Dub, Big DAVE is tremendously instrumental in the development of the television show. From his writing skills "Beaters," "Jenny Craig Man," to his acting talents as "Mr. Applebox" Big DAVE 's hilarious antics are always on full display. Although he can always be seen on Rookie TV, he can also be heard online on rookie radio's "The Big HOUSE." Along with the hottest music from local Chicago artists as well as hip hop artist from across the globe, interviews with cast members, comedians and musicians, Big DAVE and his partner C-Dub (Chris W. Jordan) provide laugh-out-loud funny skits, bits, and crazy characters.

The Boring Facts

Born and raised in Chicago, Big DAVE is the youngest of five children. After graduating from De La Salle Institute in '97, (where he also met and became good friends with both Rookie and C-Dub) Big DAVE attended Lane College in Tennessee . Soon, he was back in Chicago and back in school at Columbia College , the premier school for the arts. Big DAVE 's love for radio was elevated by interning at KIX 96 in Tennessee, Big DAVE earned his own morning radio show at Columbia called "The Big DAVE and J-Rock Show" on WCRX.

The special earned Big DAVE 3 awards including 2 Silver Microphone awards. When approached by his cousin Rookie who informed him about his new television project under development along with co-founder C-Dub, Big DAVE was cordially welcomed aboard the Rookie TV staff.

The Closer

Even though Big DAVE has a lot of different names, (crazy, silly, stupid, out of his mind, etc.) characters, and titles; only one title means anything to this big man, "family." With people like this involved with Rookie TV, it's no wonder why Rookie TV is as highly anticipated as it is.
