About Us

What's been up with Rookie TV?

What is up people?!?! I know what you’re going to say, and yes, it has taking a long time for us to bring out season 2 and all the new content. All I can say is, MORE IS ON THE WAY!!! There have been many new changes to the Web site as you can see! Thanks to C-Dub the site is totally new! I feel like we just moved into a new apartment and we’re waiting that first month of rent after paying the security deposit. Speaking of moving, we have videos up chronicling what we as individuals have been doing with our off time. We follow C-Dub as he moves out of his folk’s house. Big DAVE, as he braves the stage during his standup routine and me as I give a very impromptu tour of my job. Check it out fast before C-Dub moves back with his parents, Big DAVE gets boooooed off the stage and I get my ass fired.

As you can see there are a few new editions to the Rookie TV Web site. We've added tons more pictures to the pic section (including the pics you guys have sent in). We now have a Rookie TV blog where you can read and comment on countless topics we feel the need to talk crap about on a daily basis. In the blog we have touched on many subjects you may be able to chime in on from Peter Griffin's endless bout with the chicken on Family Guy, to Stephon Maurbury eating Vaseline on YouTube. Last but definitely not least, we have also (drum roll please) placed the entire first season of Rookie TV online for your enjoyment. That’s right, after God knows how long of having only the Meat Shake episode online, now you will be able to view all full episodes from Rookie TV season 1 including the infamous Politics Episode. This is where we show our support for then president George Bush. Also, you have to check out the Clowns Episode where C-Dub complains for the full half hour while following career clowns around the south side of Chicago in their quest for liquor. Where do we get this shit from? (Clears throat)

Although, the Web site looks spanking new, there are however a few of familiar things you have grown accustomed to with the old Web site. We will have poll questions that we update regularly with randomly stupid subjects that we come up with. Also, you will still have the capability commenting on videos viewed on our site. So give us your 2 cents.

So with all that being said, what can I say about what you have to look forward to with season 2? Well there are tons more!!! There are new skits and commercials like our Fuel campaign where we have partnered with neighbor"hood" micro brewery, and the mini doc we did on the great Tiger Woulds. That guy is CRAZY! Look out for new stuff from Tommy Bong and the Beaters crew as they follow and film infidels for your viewing pleasure. New segments and vignettes are being produced as well like "Ask Michael Jordan" "Real Talk with Jimmy" and "Things that Happen to Big People." There are tons more new stuff but I don't want to ruin the surprise. (whispering: Word on the street is that Rookie TV is working on a brand new mixtape featuring some of the tightest underground rap acts of Chicago.)

Truth is people, we are broke! We've have had a few wins here and there, broadcasting on PBS and all but still we have no budget. Getting this content out takes a lot of time and money but fortunately for us we have no lives and can put aside things like work and 8hrs sleep so we can humiliate ourselves via this Web site. Please, continue to support us here at RookieTV.com. We love any kind of support especially the green kind LOL! But seriously please repost our links, buy our merchandise, and spread the word because with each bit of your support we are inching closer to the soup lines and even closer to doing this full time for you guys. We appreciate and love you guys. Thank you, and stay tuned!

P.S. For all of you who love Hip-Hop don't forget our sister Web site GrafficAudio.com.
